A Mac app studio
Mac apps you’ll actually keep.
We’re a one-person studio that designs, builds and supports its own apps for the Mac. Each one does a single job, does it on your Mac, and gets the care a big suite can’t give to any one feature.

Who’s behind it
I build the tools I was missing.
I’ve been writing software for over a decade. Fore Studio began in 2020 building other people’s products; that paid the bills, but the work always belonged to someone else. So I stopped taking clients and started shipping my own.
Every app here began as my own problem. I wanted dictation that didn’t send my voice to a server, so I built Flit. I wanted to see what my Mac was actually doing, so I built Vitals. Each one is small, runs on the Mac, and is finished properly, because I’m the one who answers the email.
MacBase is the bigger idea. Building a Mac app is one thing; getting it signed, notarised, sold and seen is another, and nobody hands you a map. MacBase is where I’m putting what I’ve learned, and where any maker can list their app for free. The aim is simple: more good Mac apps, from more people.
